One of my motivations is the fact of my grandfather on my moms side. He lived a long life full of ailments of diabetes and high blood pressure but He never in all his days ever let that stop him. I remember watching him at 77 cut wood by hand and sweat it out and He would look at me and say Son, exercise is good for you so work hard and play hard and you will live a long life too. On the flip side though I remember him taking his insulin shots daily and That stuck with me to this day as I now have diabetes. I am on the Dash diet and Im a gym rat too.My Doctor and Nurse cheer me on as I pull day in and day out for my physical activity. When I feel down I think of my Grandfather whom I love so dearly as His cherished and youngest Grandson I Work hard daily some days just have to motivate myself by reminding myself of the consequences if I don't. My grandfather passed at age 77 years old after losing both legs to Type 2 Diabetes. But I think of the legacy He Left me, One for fitness. and I live according to that standard daily.

Health is my motivation... seeing family members with preventable health conditions due to their poor lifestyle choices. I'm always striving to better myself- becoming stronger, fitter and healthier everyday

My motivation for weight loss is my family and husband. I want to get fit so I can enjoy them for a long time to come!

My motivation for weight loss is getting healthier and not getting diabetes. It runs heavily in my family and I do not want to suffer what my parents went through fighting the disease.
