Default Tips

Im 19, 215lbs, 5 ft 9.

I graduated high school in 2013 and i was in great shape but since then I've steadily gained weight and have had trouble finding motivation working out like i used to being in sports. i used to be 188-190 and now am at 215 and have gained weight in my stomach and love handle area. i want to get serious again and get back to where i was and be happy with myself. any and all advice and tips on things to do would be appreciated. thank you

First of all cut out all your whites. Potatoes, pasta, rice, bread and any refined carbs such as fortified breakfast cereals. One exception to the rule have basmati rice before or after training. Also increase protein and good fat consumption.

I would second that however be careful of adding to much protein as excess protein can cause insulin production and ultimately can cause fat accumulation. Also increase your healthy fat intake to try and get into a ketogenic state.

In this age of 19 getting much weight is not correct. You should have to work on seriously. You can start sports activities again to reduce weight. Keep check on your diet what you are having. Stay away from all junks and processed food. Take fresh veggies , fruits, plenty of water. Keep on excercising also as daily routine. These all would help you a lot.
