losing the last 15 lbs on Atkins, anyone?
Good day everyone. i've a few questions regarding Atkins:
Que 1: any tips on losing that last 15 lbs on Atkins? Que 2: Ways to break that induction flu? que 3: ways to combat constipation?:( frustrated!!! I've lost about 0.5-1 kg for the last 4-5 weeks on Atkins induction, i found it is pretty slow given that some lost more than 20 lbs in just 3 weeks. I'm still having that induction flu feeling tired by mid-afternoon. Constipation still bad (only once or twice WEEKLY!!) although im taking psyllium husk daily+ drinking min 10 cups water :(... The good thing is my blood glucose has been lowered a bit and having minimum sweet/ dessert craving. pre-diet blood work for thyroid is normal. Been following strictly, no cheating. avg daily calories 1800-2000 cal (2 sundays i consumed 2200 cal); avg net carb 15-18g (min. 12g from veg); taking krill/ fish oil/ co enzyme q10/ chromium/ psyllium husk; 10 cups water per day cardio 45mins 4-5 times per week low weight training 2 times per week. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :) |
