Tori - It does work. Had to do that when I got married since AF was scheduled to come right during my honeymoon and I wasn't having any part of that! Just skip that last week and start a new pack and you'll be good as gold.

Didn't have a chance to check in last night. I worked late into the night putting a bedroom back together that I painted... New curtains, curtain rods, bedding. Lots and lots of work! I've been up on my calories, but the project has gone on for 4 days, so I'm sure I've burned them off.

Have to go back and catch up on all that's been going on with everyone. Then it's off to my "favorite" big box store to take back some picture frames. I think I'll be taking a break from DIY projects until after the holidays. Either I'm getting older, or these projects are getting harder! My whole body hurts! lol

1. LOG EVERYTHING, no matter how small. Yes, Yes
2. Calories under 1100. 1278, 1698
3. Strictly limit breads and cheese; no deep-fried ANYTHING!!! Yes, No
4. Take ALL vitamins and supplements; even the big, nasty ones. Yes, Yes
5. 3-4 fruits and veggies a day. Yes, Yes
6. Be grateful, humble and patient with everyone... no matter how hard. Yes, Yes

Mike, glad you minded me when I sent you to the corner. I grounded my 8 year old grandson from playing on the jungle gym for two days due to his continuing to play unsafely after I reminded him of the rules. So Monday when a gang of kids was here to play, several were on the jungle gym, so he asked me--get this--if he could be grounded from it on Tuesday and Wednesday because no kids were coming to play those days. My reply was "Do I really LOOK that stupid?"

Default Carbs vs. Starches

Hey, Mern :-) I realized after my post stating I would minimize carbs this week that I should have said starches. I ate no starches yesterday; yay me! Off to a good start today, too. Hope you are doing well.

Hey, this a nice clean food related forum!! You forgot the popsicles, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, etc.... lol

GOALS:
Join the 7 Day Thread: DONE, (maybe some regrets, lol)
Calories < 1700: 2235!, 1831
Workout 3 days: NO, NO

The workout goal is looking bad. Helped my son move to his new house on Monday. Picked up and delivered a new bed and refrigerator to my son on Tuesday. Wife is going to Frankie Valle concert with her mom tonight (so I'm watching the foster kids). Booth at the Gun Show on Saturday and Sunday.
