For yesterday:
1.) Under 1400 calories/day - M: 1363, T: 2153, W: ~3000
2.) Drink 64 oz. water/day - M:72 oz., T: 70 oz., W: over 64 oz. for sure
3.) Exercise 3-4x/week - M: N, T: Y, W: N
4.) Study 30 mins every day - M: 5 mins, T: 0 mins, W: 0 mins
5.) Post weight every day - M: 154.6, T: 158 (?), W: 158, Th: didn't have the heart to look...
6.) Something good! - M: Issue that was giving me major stress over the weekend has been resolved, T: My "special friend" () brought wine and we watched Doctor Who, W: Biopsy was waaay less painful/stressful than I thought it would be, and I'm going to dinner with friends!

This week has really taken it out of me... between insulin pump issues Friday night that kept me up 'til 5 AM and personal issues that kept me up all Saturday night, and getting this biopsy thing - well, I think it's fair to say I've imploded a bit... I don't feel too badly about it, honestly, but I definitely am feeling the need to get back on track, 'cause I actually feel gross from all my eating! Anyway, I'm going to try to do really well this weekend, and then next Wednesday I leave for Germany! So, frankly I'm not logging then... Anyway, I'm just trying to wrap my head around these past few days and be okay with them and move on instead of wallowing in feeling off-balance, if that makes any sense.

Thanks again, folks, for all your encouragement!

Health/Fitness Goals ...

2. Exercise 3 times (how hard is that?) M: No, T: No, W: 54mins with Jillian,
3. Walk on lunch M: Yes, T: Yes, W: Had an appt,
4. Fruits, veggies & dairy until dinner M: Yes, T: No (PB & Banana sandwich for lunch today), W: Yes,
5. Weigh and post it M: 237.8lbs, T: 237.6lbs, W: 237.4lbs, Th: scale wouldn't settle on a number ,

Life Goals ...
1. Walk Chloe 1 time M: No, T: No, W: No,
2. Water garden daily M: Yes - (think one of my cuke plants is dying, it's wilted), T: Yes, W: Yes,
3. Weed flower bed M: No, T: No, W: No,

Ended up about 100 calories over my range last night because I added ice cream snack after my meatball sandwich dinner. Scale was ranging everywhere from 238 (probably right) down to 226 today so I'm not recording a reading. That happens to me sometimes with sodium. Right now I'm happy to stay under 240 because usually I have a 2lb bounce after losing 4-5 lbs. I lost 4 within the past 2 weeks or so but haven't bounced more than 1/2 a lb.

I am really hoping that my procedure took effect now and I won't be seeing Aunt Flo anymore. She came to visit last month for 13 days! So I don't know when to expect her this month. If the begin day should remain the same then it is about 5 days ago. I did have a really bitchy (yes, people, I can be really bitchy!) day or two last week so I'm thinking that is when it should have hit but no sign of it yet. Not bloated or gaining weight. So I am really hoping that last month's 2 week party was just a send off for Aunt Flo and I'll never see that witch again! LOL

Thanks for the compliments on the pics. Those girls really do bring me so much joy. When nothing else is going right you can cuddle with them or throw a ball or get them to do tricks for cookies. It just makes the world right for a little while.

Little problem in white How concerned would you be if your 14 yr old with anger and self control issues was viewing porn online? My son has been being pretty secretive with his online habits recently so last night I got on his laptop and viewed his cookies and I won't list the sites but they are not made for 14 yr olds. I am going to offer him the chance to prove to me that he hasn't been on them recently and that they are just in his cookies from previous viewing but I am pretty mad. All I ask of them is not to view that kind of stuff. I even explained to him before that it isn't like when I was a teen and you found a Playboy to look at or something. They were fairly discreet. Not full on look at everything that these girls have. There is way too much dirty stuff out there online that most people do not want to see. And I am far from being a prude. I just really feel that someone with self control issues and that makes inappropriate comments to girls already shouldn't be looking at that stuff. ... So he will lose his computer & phone until I decide to give it back and when he gets it back it will have a parental blocker installed. I just have to research and find a good one. .... Am I blowing this out of proportion and being an overprotective mom? I know boys will be boys but I feel like his case is different.

Jho ... Yep, I did the 30 day shred. I loved it! Rarely did it leave me sore though. I am a fairly active and flexible 'big girl' so it takes a really strong workout for me to get sore. I know I lost inches though and I think 10lbs while doing that set of videos though. I have moved on now to Jillian's Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. I absolutely LOVE it! It is 54 minutes of sweat and movement and it's kickboxing. Who knew that I love kickboxing? I would have never guessed it! The only thing I do miss is the little bit of work with the dumb bells that was in the 30 Day Shred. So now that I got back to actually working out since I skipped about a month I am going to try to incorporate a page or two from Fitness magazine with dumb bell workouts a few times a week even though I'm doing BFBM about 3 times a week too. Keep with it, you will see results!

Joanna, so glad the biopsy went well.

April, those pictures of the pups are adorable. Good for you doing that shred!!
In white: I think you are being a concerned and smart Mom.

Good to see Mike, Tori, Jho and everyone back.

Mern, where are you?

April, I agree with Hope. White comment: I think it is right to be concerned, but not worth panic and catastrophizing, and it sounds like you have a good perspective on it. To an extent, it's a curiosity thing, but there is a trust issue as well, and, as you pointed out, the stuff out there now is not always innocuous. In addition, some of those links can download some very nasty things onto the computer (viruses, etc.), which is another headache over and above on top of the one you're already dealing with. I had a virus trash my previous laptop and the first thing the tech asked me when trying to resuscitate it was if any of those sites had been visited. There are a lot of programs out there; you will find something. If you need a recommendation, I have Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security. I purchased it mainly due to HIPAA and confidentiality standards but come to find out it has parental controls on it that are easy to negotiate.

I totally agree with Hope and Cassie. A good parental blocker is in order. You don't want to appear too upset over it. Yet, at the same time, you need to let him know, in no uncertain terms, that this won't be tolerated in your home. Firm, calm, nonnegotiable punishment without appearing to be freaked out. (And don't fall for the 'ol "a friend did it..." lol.)

April - I agree with everyone too - def not being overprotective in this case. He's only 14!! You are being a parent! What does hubby think?

I think it was the pushups that did it with the shred! I can really feel it in my shoulders. I think I need to go a little deeper with my lounges and squats cuz I was hoping I'd feel it more in the lower body!

Also doing the Carmen Electra Aerobic Striptease - I hurt my neck LOL I'm such a loser! I think I spent about 2.5 hours just doing random workout videos last night!
