Thanks for the recipe, Mern! Lots of things I don't keep in the house...we'll have to see how ambitious I get :D

Really sick today. I'm totally worn down. No exercise at all today and no plans to do any, but my calories are ok. I asked my mom if she could take the kiddo for the day tomorrow so I could get some rest (she was going to take him anyway so I could paint but I called in sick to painting) and she said she'd have to let me know because she might be tired tomorrow. The only thing she's ever capable of planning in advance for is being tired. Oh, you need my help? Sorry, I'm planning on being tired tomorrow. Aargh.

1) 1,600 calories max/day (allow myself 1 guilt free day over 1,600) - 1491, 1551
2) do 2 exercises on days I don't work (walking/weights/gardening/Richard Simmons/stationary bike) - 1hr walking/nothing else, nada
3) 20% protein minimum - 23%, 20%
4) 64oz water minimum - not sure; not enough, 80oz+
5) calorie deficit 700+ - 716, 516
6) take vitamins - yes, yes
7) lights out by 11 the night before - yes, yes
8) no food after 8pm the night before - no, yes

cjohnson728 06-05-2012 04:45 PM

1. 1300 or fewer calories. 949, 1136
2. Make a pretty pie chart. Yes, Yes
3. Drink water, drink water, drink water. Yes, Meh
4. Exercise 6 hours. 60 min, 30 min
5. Log everything; update goals daily. Yes, Yes
6. Sleep 7 hours (per night, not per week ). 6, 6

Plus tasks I've been putting off or we've been too busy to do:

7. Take the boy driving at least three times. Once
8. Replace family pics in frames on stairway and family room. Weekend project

I am tired. Life is beating me up this past month.
Congrats on a good day, everyone.

For today:
1.) Workout x3: 1
2.) Under 1500 calories/day: 1352, 1171
3.) Drink 64 oz. of water/day: 96 oz., 88 oz.
4.) Start studying for candidacy exam in August: a little

Was busy today, so keeping calories down was easier.

Good Morning!

A complete "Groundhog's Day" of yesterday... Waiting for my coffee to finish brewing and then I'm off for my walk. Another perfectly gorgeous day; can't waste a minute of it. May do some woods hiking today to shake things up.

Completed our big painting project and I'm tired and sore, but I'm sure that I burned a few calories, anyway.

Things that I have to accomplish today:

1. Balance checkbook... my least favorite chore, right up there with scrubbing the shower. lol

2. Water flowers... I'm not a gardener; I just play one on TV.

3. If time allows, check on hospital bill. (grumble, grumble, grumble...)

(I figured if I wrote them down for everyone to see, I'd have to do them today.)

Have a great day, everyone! :)
