Mern, congrats on the 2 miles!!!!!!! I still have a couple miles to put in. It's so damn hot and Chole' doesn't like for me to go without her. Yesterday the poor baby looked like she was ready to pass out. I may have to go super later or early before it gets to hot.

Mike, I did my two miles via DVD in the comfort of air conditioning. It got up to 91 degrees here today, which is likely cool compared to Louisiana. Poor Chloe--heat is really hard on pets. I didn't log yesterday or today but I was good on food and water both days.

Tunnrida, good job Saturday! I forgot, when is your next weigh-in?

Rose, thanks for the congrats on my GD's academic awards. We've got 7 grandkids altogether: boys 26, 25, almost 8, and girls 22, 17, 16, and 10.
The twenty-something year olds are DH's from his first marriage, but I claim them all--and the younger four are from our daughter. How many do you have? Boys or girls and how old are they?

Nobe, your calorie overages the past two days are minimal--kudos on controlling that. That Thai snack of black rice and mango sounds yummy--kind of rice pudding-ish. Ooh, that reminds me--I could make some faux rice pudding out of textured soy veggie protein. Thanks for the idea--that'll be my nutritious snack for tonight. Oh, the drive-in sounds like fun. My first summer out of high school I was a carhop for a burger joint--no roller skates, but I served on trays attached to the car windows. Lots of green in your report this week. Way to go!

Joanna, great job yesterday. I'll bet your scale will start moving again very soon. I expect mine to, also--will weigh myself Monday.

Weird day all around. I did really well up until dinner but SOMEONE talked me out of my original dinner choice and talked me IN to going and buying a grill. So, I got back with said grill around 8:15ish and had to put the beast together. At 9:30 I still hadn't managed to attach the lid to the kettle, so I said screw it and had leftovers. LOTS AND LOTS of leftovers Wound up crawling in bed at like 11. I was slightly down on the scale this morning (-0.2 to be exact) but there are extenuating circumstances and I wasn't too surprised by it. All in all I'll consider it a fair day. Today has gone better (so far).....I got the grill completely constructed (and she's a beauty if I do say so myself) and supper has already been cooked and eaten. And I'm WAY under on calories so far. Which means I can have a SMALL snack later. Will try and catch up with today's goals in a bit. For now, I'm off to the grocery store to get stuff for Grill-a-palooza at my brother's tomorrow.

Mern, 91* is what we've had here as well.

Tori, Maybe someone talk you out of your original choice because it was a piss poor choice??

Darn... had my whole list of goals updated and lost the whole thing when I tried to copy it... Anyway, I have done pretty good this week, but still need to pick-up the daily exercise and make better food choices when super busy and when I wait too long to eat and get super hungry.... Tomorrow is another day - and I plan to do great!

I hope everyone has had a great weekend!

Ama

For today:
1.) Workout x3: 3ish
2.) Stay under 1500 calories/day: ~1890, 1333, 1412, no idea, 1173, 1310
3.) Drink 64 oz. of water/day: 20 oz., 64 oz., 64 oz., 64 oz., 64 oz., 72 oz.

Pretty good today, I think. Mostly sat around and watched TV, but hey, it's the weekend Hope everyone is having a good one.

Not such a good day (and not such a good week). Woke up and weighed myself - back up to 180 since Wednesday. I'm hoping it's water weight from the salty foods I've eaten the past few days and not just five pounds of fat (my calories haven't been that high?). Did ok for most of the day, but then we went to a BBQ at hubby's brother's house with about 40 people I barely know. I did ok, considering how limited my choices were - if we hadn't brought veggie and fruit trays, the only produce at all would have been the iceberg lettuce for the burgers. I ate mostly fruit and veggies, had a burger, a bit of macaroni salad, and half a piece of cake. The cake was mostly because I was overwhelmed by all the people and wanted a distraction.

I've got three days to be good before my next (official) weigh-in, and hopefully I can get some of those 5 pounds back off. Ugh.

1) 1,600 calories max/day (allow myself 1 guilt free day over 1,600) - 2241 (I'm calling it guilt-free but I still feel guilty), 1444, 1476, 1667, 1661, 1912
2) do 2 exercises on days I don't work (walking/weights/gardening/Richard Simmons/stationary bike) - does holding a 30 pound kid for an hour at a parade count?/nothing else, 1hr walking/weights, 25 mins stationary bike/weights, painted 5hrs, painted 7 hrs, 1hr walking/nothing else
3) 20% protein minimum - 14%, 31%, 22%, 23%, 18%, 14%
4) 64oz water minimum - 64oz+, 80oz+, 64oz+, not sure, 64oz+, 64oz
5) calorie deficit 700+ - +66, 785, 729, 927, 1081, 316
6) take vitamins - yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes
7) lights out by 11 the night before (except Sunday night because apparently I'm hooked on Celebrity Apprentice) - no, yes, no, yes, no, no
