Wow that sounds like the dinner I had last Saturday at the gumbo shop. Dimples? Who me? Sounds like y'all are having a blast. I enjoyed meeting up, it was nice putting a face to the name. I don't know about manners, maybe it just being southern. I'm glad you didn't think I was a real ass. Lol
Oh, you are so welcome. I wish I could have stayed longer, I'd have my face buried in your bag of powdered sugar! Enjoy yourself where here but throw your diet out the window!

Okay, I feel cheated. I got F-bombs dropped and a King Cake. I wanna do over!!

OMG, Tori said she had some classic lays. I have, too, but being a lady I don't talk about that in public.

oh my GAH! Mern! You literally made me laugh out loud. Jasmine is looking at me like I'm a little bit off in the head. Of course, she's right, but in this one instance, I had a right to laugh at the computer screen. And you know what they say, A Lady in the Streets.....I won't finish that one

So sorry so many of you are having a hard time with the cookies and other goodies. I had snack cakes and cookies earlier this week, so I know how hard it is to resist sometimes.

Amy, thanks for the toast! LOL I seriously thought you were Mike's DD in that picture. I'm not surprised about Mike having impeccable manners--so our cutie pie has dimples, eh? Awwwwwww! My mouth was watering reading about your dinner! Bread pudding is one of my favorite desserts especially with a great rum sauce. I have GOT to find a way to make that low carb--maybe I could do it with low carb tortillas. Biegnets! OMG I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVE those! Mike's right--you don't take R&R in NO and stick to a weight loss diet--that's a waste of a great experience!

April, great news that your son's bloodwork came back normal. Sorry he had such a hard time dealing with helping with the yardwork. Sounds like you took exactly the stance you should have--letting him know his attitude/anger/frustration won't get him out of chores all the time. Congrats on getting your bush work done. Sounds like you have great neighbors. Give yourself credit for doing a fantastic job all week on your food goals. You know, sometimes when I do that well, I sort of feel entitled to fall into a pile of goodies with my mouth wide open. I know it's self-sabotage, but it happens to me often. Well, you coulda done worse--at least you had 1% milk instead of whole milk. I can't tell you how many times I did awesome all day and then blew it at night. Start fresh tomorrow--you'll get back on track--I just know it.

Mike and Amy, I was amazed that's Amy in the pic! She looks too young to be as old as she claims--40 something? That must have been so fun to have lunch together!

Mike, LOL--I didn't mean you look old enough to be Amy's dad! I knew what you look like, except that you're skinnier now.

Tori, did you make cookies, too? If 1500 calories of that was Mike's cookie recipe, you'll be down on the scale by morning. Eat up! LOL Hard to stay good when you feel lousy. But yes, tomorrow is a new day and an opportunity for a fresh start. I've had only one migraine in my whole life and I cried with the pain, spent a lot of time with the porcelain god, and was so dizzy I couldn't make it out of the bathroom to get help. I eventually passed out on the bathroom floor. Hope you enjoy your grilled chicken tomorrow.

Nobe, so sorry your day didn't go well. Happens to all of us on occasion. I totally understand binging and not regretting it. PMS sucks! Kudos on doubling your efforts tomorrow.

Luv, congrats on the awesome 4 miles! Man, it's the pits when we forget to log something, isn't it? Happened to me this week, too.

Tori, yeah, I caught that about them being yummy AND the stuff about the bags. I was ROFLMAO. Yeah, I know that line "freak between..." I gotta get off--the subject. Goodnight.

Tori, at least I didn't come empty handed. Do over? That would require another trip!

Mern, I've actually packed on some weight. I was able to find a work polo that I didn't look like Baby Huey in. I can have 2 women here heckling me. Cutie pie? Don't make me blush. I'm just your average short, fat, bald guy.

Bahahahaha! DH is about to make me shut the computer down, I keep waking him up with wild laughter. Mern, do you thing Tori is old enough to distinguish a "classic" from a "run of the mill" lay???
