Mike, glad you don't have a fever. Yeah, you're right about the ice cream not being good for a mucus issue. Lots of water should help thin out the mucus--that's what they SAY, anyway, but it seems to just keep on coming when I'm the one with the issue. LOL on mhibdon cheating her way through finals. The tree is looking great!

My live-in GD gets migraine headaches and she had a killer one this morning and didn't make it to school. Her physics teacher, who knows she works part time, called her after school to give her the homework assignment so she won't fall behind next week. Geez, no slack for being sick, but I guess at least the teacher cares about the students.

I came close to blowing my good day. I reached into the candy jar where I had a pound of Christmas M&M's for my grandkids and pulled out a handful. Started eating them one by one and after the fifth one, changed my mind. Good thing--I went and entered it in my food log and discovered five puny little M&M's totalled 28 calories and 4 (yeah FOUR!) grams of carbs. Luckily, I had the carbs and calories to spare, so I'll still be OK--but I just squeezed in under the wire!

Going to watch some TV.

The Rx cough syrup isn't working!!!! This sucks!!! I started the antibiotic, cough syrup and nasal spray today. Tomorrow I start on the steroid pills. They wanted to give me a shot today and I turned it down. Between the epidurals, IV's and blood work I feel like I'm "needled out". I can't wait to feel better. During the day, I sit around the house and eat, and night I'm up all night coughing. This is getting the damn best of me. Ahhhhhh I could scream. Okay, enough of me whining and feeling sorry for myself, how's everyone else doing?
