Christmas is my goal as well. I don't have that much to lose so I am a little worried that it will be slow going. Ideally would like to lose 15 pounds by then but that might be too aggressive.

Would be happy with 10 by Christmas and any more a bonus.

Hi everyone,

I'm in. I've been gone for months. Gained back some pounds

I have to admit that it's been hard to count calories. I have trouble with the prepared dishes I make. Like soups or stews. I saw something on Dr. Oz yesterday (not a big fan but was watching). He mentioned that each decade your metabolism slows (yeah duh!). I think I should be eating around 1400/1500 calories. Maybe less. I'm low carb, not carb but I really have to keep track of calories.

Thanks!

I've been on a plateau the last couple of weeks. At least I didn't gain any though. I'm looking forward to seeing the scale move again.

Log each ingredient, just make enough for one day, or if you finish say, half the soup, just halve the portions you entered of the ingredients.

Another way is to go to a recipe calculator site, load your ingredients, click, and voila...instant nutrition facts. Then come to FitDay and load it in as a custom food. I use this one: Recipe Calculator

I am SO in. I have commitment issues though so I will have to get tons of support. I don't know how easy it'll be to lose 10 by December 25th at this point but if I can't make ten, how about five??

Default I think I'm stuck

[QUOTE=LMB2011;61311]Yesterday when I weighed on my wii fit I was 310. This is currently the lowest I've been in two years. December 20th I see my diatitian for a two month follow up on how my blood sugar is doing. My goal is to be 300 or under.[/QUOT]
Slowly moving down. 309.3 today

I hope to lose 10 pounds by Christmas. I currently weigh 154, so I would be happy to be at 144 ^_^. Though my goal is to lose 2 pounds a week, so I am really hoping to lose 14 by then.
