7 Day Motivational Thread Starting 10/17/11

Who's in?

For the newbies that don't know me, I'm the lone guy here. I would leave but I don't think the ladies will let me.;) October is breast cancer awareness month so I'm doing a Susan G Komen walk for the cure. I'm currently raising money to help fight breast cancer. I am just $75 away from my $1,000 goal (which stated off as a $150 goal :eek). If I reach $1,000 I promised the ladies that I'd make a YouTube video thanking my supported, while wearing PINK! I don't wear pink. Pink and I go together like oil and water. If I hit $2,000 I'll throw in some pink shorts and if by some crazy chance I get to $3,000 I'll wear a pink tennis skirt AND shave my legs!

For the regulars, in case you missed it I made a YouTube video trying to squeeze the last $75 out of someone (yes, that's me at 181 pounds, and yes... I need to shave, remember I failed at that goal.)

Health & Fitness

Fish Oil
Multi Vitamin

Non Health & Fitness
7) Snooze button no more than once per day
8) Get battery for food scale
9) Write 4 policies

10) Get 4 donations (If you want to help out or just want to see me wear pink, please click on my site!

Hi...I just signed up for FitDay tonight because I need something to try to keep me on track with this weight loss attempt. Somehow if I write things down for others to read, I feel accountable. In addition to having to read and write most of my time because I'm working on my PhD, I'm in a fairly high-stress, somewhat sedentary job, so I have to make an effort to get up and get exercise during the day. Here are my goals for this first week:

1. Drink at least 2 bottles of water a day and limit my coffee to two cups. (This may not sound like a great effort, but it is!)

2. Walk two miles (at my local walking track) on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

3. Log everything I eat, and stick to my menu plan.

4. Friday - swim during my lunch hour.

Enough for this week - I need to look at this as a lifestyle change!

October 17, 2011: 180
Goal: 140

Welcome to fitday! Just make a list of what you plan to do over the next 7 days. Check out the old thread (just below this one) if you need some ideas. I just posted my goals above. Hopefully that may help too.

So true its only 9 here though. I just checked out your video the unshaven looks works for you so its not to tragic for your gf that you failed that goal. Hope to see you in pink.:) Yw.
I am not doing intense abs right now and the trainer at the gym said you can work abs daily so we will see I am also doing normal squats not those killer ones you posted lol. If my calf doesn't heal I wont be making that goal anyway, but I love how much better I am feeling with the consistent exercise plus I am not working what else do I have to do but clean my house.

Tonja Nice goals to start.

Have a nice night.

She actually hates when I have a fresh shave on my face and head, she says I look like I'm 20. Ha! I wish. Good night ladies, I'm out.
