went way over on my calorie count today
I went over my calorie count today but a 1000 calories not good at all I know but my honey (Fred my fiancee) brought home ice cream and cream soda and surprised me with a float... He just wanted to spoil me and the kids and I really hated to say no, then my sis in law decides to cook this great dinner... I really wish I hadn't went over, but I know it's not the end of the world and I know I just began this weight loss so I am going to continue to look on the bright side of life, and not give up... I have been counting calories for a couple months now, I know I just joined 3 days ago, I am proud of myself so far and am not going to let the couple days I have went over get me down, I have managed to loose about 15 pounds sense I started my weight loss get healthy plan. I just needed to share what is going right now....

Britt You can work in some extra activity this week or cut back slightly so that your average calories are better. You might ask him next time to surprise you with things other than food though, even though that does seem to be a mainstay of any kind of social or family interaction a lot of times. |
I agree. In the long run it is the average that counts. Take a look at the 7 day motivation thread in the women's support forum. You will a lot of weekly average calorie goals along with daily calorie goals. The good thing is that you are still looking forward and not just throwing in the towel from one off day. That shows your mind is where it needs to be. All or nothing mentality is the downfall of so many people.

Don't worry about it, it happens to everyone. I don't think doing it once in a blue moon is a disaster, and it might even help you get more motivated to stick to your diet constantly. Just go back to your dieting and exercise plan and stick to it and you'll make up for this one binge day.

Thanks for sharing.
Hope you're doing better now.
