7-Day (full week, not 5 & not 6 day) Motivational Thread Starting 9/12

I feel for ya Amy. Is it possible to have her shower at night before bed instead of in the morning? Maybe that would be a different part of her routine that might work better for her. That's what we do. And that lays all the groundwork for our bedtime routine. Not trying to say my way is better than yours by any means just a suggestion.

So is that your professional opinion? Geez, I'm really in for it, cause I feel like I could use a bottle now! I know a couple of docs, but I've never schmoozed them, I do hang with a few of their wives. Maybe I should get chummy with the pediatrician? She's very cool and has 4 kids of her own, I bet she'd help me in a pinch.

ROFLOL, too too funny. Right now I'm potty training the little one, she doesn't speak very clearly, but she knows the color "yellow", pronouncing it "wellow". Anyway whenever she needs to pee, she say's, "wellow on a potty".

I have a bit of a rant and then I'll shut up. So this afternoon after school was nuts, as usual getting everyone to finish their homework, snacks, fights, etc. Plus I'm in the midst of canning tomatoes so the kitchen is like a bomb went off in there. So we eat dinner in little clean spots here and there. As I finish the last bite the phone rings and it's Officer So and so. Apparently the crossing guard wrote my plate number down and called the police saying that I blast through his post 2-3 times every day and I'm dangerous. Excuse me? My oldest DD is a safety, she has to be at her post at 7:30 am and she has to stay until 3:45pm. So by the time I past his post the crossing guard is gone for the day. I haven't even seen him except for the first day of school and then again yesterday. And when I past him yesterday he was still in his car because I went early to give DD an umbrella so she could stand at her post in the pouring rain. Apparently he's reported me 3 times in the last week, but I've only past him twice? And one of those times he wasn't even on duty yet. He told the police that I drive a "tan minivan" only it's not tan or a minivan. There must be 30-40 "tan minivans" that drive to that school and past his post every morning. He himself admitted that he didn't get a plate number the first couple of times, but he was sure it was a Chevy driven by a "female", well gee, that narrows it right down, doesn't it? My girls are horrified, this is a guy we've given a tin of Christmas cookies to every year since they've been in school, only to suddenly find out that he complains to the police about somebody EVERY DAY. I'm starting to wonder if he isn't sort of losing it.

Well the car is finished. Even did windows and shined up the tires. Did a light coat of wax. I think in the next few weeks I'll strip the paint clean (clay bar the car) and put a GOOD coat of wax on her.

Is Quinn out of town or just taking a break? What about Mern? I swear between these two I think I may need to start a new list.

Nope, I posted before that I keep a drug testing kit in my closet and have had to replace it on more than one occasion.
Amy, I have a wonderful idea, instead of a tin of cookies for Christmas, I think you should be more thoughtful and bake him a tin full of chocolate (exlax) brownies.
