Cobblkini?

How about baking pans in the shape of a bathing suit? That would certainly make you think about portion control!

Although in the wrong hands, those could be frighteningly misused

I'm going to continue being good today, though my heart's not in it. I've been good as gold for a week and been bouncing up and down the same half pound, no real progress. Today is up . In my head I know I'm doing the right thing and it'll happen, but it's hard to feel it.

Also gives new meaning to the term "cheesecake."

Amy, I have now reached the point in my running when Chico cannot keep up with me. I walk him separately. Although I have a desk job, I walk my dog 3-4 times per day because I have the sheer luxury of being a 10-minute walk to work. My car is just rusting outside. In fact the last time I put gas in it was on I-87 in the state of NY and I have been back for almost a month! By the way I totally cracked up when I read about keeping a bikini in your handbag for motivation! I think I'm going to try that! Except I haven't owned a bikini in over 20 years. Perhaps I'll jam my inspiration jeans into my handbag?

Mike, I can't look at your recipe. I gained a pound just reading your post! Apple crumble is like crack to me.

Cassie, I love how Facebook had you running to the fridge. I hope you didn't drop your lap top!

Cool newbie question

hey all,
great site, i'm looking forward to utilizing it.
quick question:
my current exercise routine consists of walking and then stretching, sit ups etc. at home.
i also have some workout dvds
my question is: do any of you use a power walk program that you can download onto your mp3?
i am trying to find one that during the playing of the music it will tell you to speed up, slow down, etc.
anyone heard of anything like that.
thanks,

Almeeker, you busy girl! You know what you have to do. I just got an iPhone, if you ever way to try your luck with words with friends, let me know. Someone has to stop my reign of terror in the game. Everyone has fallen victim to the master!

Sheila, you van find an app for that if you have a smart phone. You may want to ask this immune new comers section, you may have better luck there. Welcome to FitDay.

Mike I had to go hunting for your food porn after all the reviews! You didn't let me down. I may have to make an apple crumble over the weekend but I'll make sure there are lots of people arround to share it. You should write food ads! Mary

Default Crash and Burn!!

Ohhhh, I am having a bad day! Due to various circumstances (the same ones...getting too hungry, unplanned lunch out, and baking and too much sampling), I'm already at maintenance calories today .

However, the silver lining is that I've logged everything instead of giving up, and I managed to get off the snacking train. I'm going to double up exercise today and add another exercise night to the week during my planned night off to try to make up the ground.

Grrr .
