Wow, you all have been busy! Congrats to all on days well done.

Crazy days here; just now getting into my check in from yesterday and today's half gone already

1. Calories 250 deficient per day (adjust after weigh-in on Wed. if necessary). Yes, Yes
2. Balance macros, fiber, and ratio of good:bad fats. Yes, Yes
3. Sleep at least 7 hours a night. No, No
4. Drink at least two big blue bottles of water daily. Yes, Yes

5. Pay attention to posture. Yes, Yes
6. Smile more, bitch less (it's contagious ). Yes, Yes
7. Be more diligent about skin care (sunscreen, yes, but there's more I should be doing). Yes, Yes
8. Straighten and put things away before bed. (I hate waking up to a disheveled house, but it gets so crazy in the afternoons and evenings. If I can do this, I will be in a much better mood in the mornings!). Yes, Yes
9. Do shade garden by end of weekend.

Has anyone seen my head? I seem to have misplaced it somewhere.

Quinn, congrats to you and your daughter on her accomplishment. I hope she has an awesome experience!

Maybe you put yours where I've put mine. Mern, do you want to tell Cassie where that is.

Today has been fabulous eating wise. I was too busy with work to run around campus searching for free brownies. I collected my first set of soil cores for the season which is a huge accomplishment for me as it is stressful and hard to get to the sites. I only need to do it another 12 times....haha kinda.

Um, I might be wearing it? I dunno, I've been very philosophical today, and here I thought it was a matter of sleep deprivation. If that's the case, where in the dickens did I leave mine?

Wednesday Report Card

Health & Fitness Goals:

1. Eat clean and kept calories 1,350-1,600, 50 push-ups for days I'm over. 1,600, 1,690 50 push-ups done. 1,577
2. Drink 96 oz of water. Y, Y, Y
3. Exercise 6 hours. 62 min, 60 min, 62 min (total 3:04)
4. Calorie deficit of 3,500 for the week. -762, -598, -616 (total -1,976)
5. Carbs 45% or lower, Protein 30% or higher. (43c/30p), (39c/40p), (49c/34p) Had grains today.
6. Log food and report every day even weekends. Y, Y, Y
7. Grain free 3 days. Y, Y, N

Non-Fitness Goals:

8. Make DD a costume for Thursday's performance. Started, finished mob cap, 1/2 done with nightgown. NO
9. Call the autobody place and set up appointment. N, I called and got a little bit of run around from the body shop, now I have to talk it over with DH and figure out when we should get it done.
10. Call my doctor's office and work out the prescription problem. N, N, Y
11. Smile more, bitch less and (stealing from Crimpet) instantly drop into a 2 minute plank for infractions. Y, Y, Y
12. 1 hour of cleaning in the basement. N, N, N
13. Finish weeding/mulching at least 2 of the flower beds. N, N, N
14. Housework:
Monday: down-stairs bathroom, up-stairs bathroom, laundry
Tuesday: kitchen, stairwell, hall, laundry
Wednesday living room, bedroom, laundry
Thursday dining room, bedroom, laundry
Friday den, master bedroom, laundry
Saturday, front porch, basement, laundry
Sunday, Mother's Day not doing a darned thing I don't want to.

I'm having a bit of a rough day. Last night oldest DD was up late coughing, at 11:00pm I got up and dosed her again with this and that and she finally quieted down. At 2:00am, middle DD was up crying inconsolably because her ear hurt. So I kept her home from school today and dragged her to the doctor's office bright and early, ear infection. Why I need to pay the doctor $10 to tell me that is anybody's guess, I've known since roughly 2:01am what the problem was, but I digress. At 4:00am DH's alarm clock went off, he had to catch a flight to Nashville TN for work. He bangs around in the morning like herd of buffalo, (plus he's a morning "man") so there is no getting back to sleep for at least an hour after he's awake. At 4:40am when my alarm clock went off I was dead dog tired and not looking forward to all that workout nonsense, BUT I DID IT ANYWAY! (Anybody remember BIDIA?) I drank an extra cup of coffee, and managed the day, although I did struggle with being productive. And to make matters just a little worse, I already had one kid at home sick and got a call from the school to come pick up the oldest one. Maybe tomorrow we'll all be healthy and back to just our normal level of insanity. Fingers crossed. So now I'm off to have a bowl of homemade chicken soup and call it an early night. Hugs, later...

Hey Mike,

Do you have a minute for an insurance consult?

I received a letter today from my insurance company trying to get me to convert all or a portion of a Term policy to any form of permanent insurance. Is there any benefit to me or are they just trying to make more money? The company, not my agent, keeps sending me similar letters. How come?

Just wondering...
