Mtlgirl, your post scared me for a second - I was thinking "who is winter and what did she do wrong???".. then I got it lol

Goals:
1. 1800-2000 cals a day no, yes
2. exercise 5 times this week no, yes
3. try to take a half hour nap if I can yes, no
4. drink 96 oz water yes, yes
5. NO Cookies!!! yes, no

Personal:
1. Start each day with a To Do list yes, yes
2. Get taxes done no, no
3. Get decorations planned for blue and gold ceremony no, no
4. Finish hats for brothers no, no
5. Be patient with my girls yes, yes

On number 2, I really needed to exercise, but my baby was awake the whole time my girls took their nap, so I wasn't sure I would get to. Finally, he went to sleep and then.. they woke up!! So I ended up improvising and doing squats and heel raises, etc - taking turns holding them. They loved it, they thought we were dancing and just giggled the whole time! And.. it was a way better workout adding 20 lbs to the mix

I am actually ok with number 5.. after the crazy morning I had, I was so tempted to eat my comfort foods! Then my neighbor dropped off some chocolate covered oreos !! I normally would have eaten the whole bag before my husband got home, but I limited myself to 2 and put the rest away and actually stayed away! Big achievement for me haha.

Default Report card for Tuesday

[QUOTE=mtlgirl;35241]

Twinnermommy, that's funny that you thought I was angry at another member named Winter. This morning I had to rush out of the house to move my car for the snow plow and was cursing out Winter again. This is the time of year when I get a little tired of all the snow and cold.

Cassie, not only did I do all that shoveling yesterday, I also got in my workout so it was a great day on the exercise front. Congrats on your progress! I was really tempted to get on the scale this morning but I resisted!

My goals for this week:
1. Do the 30 Day Shred every morning NO / YES
2. Weigh in, only on Tuesday YES / YES
3. Eat between 1300-1550 calories per day. YES (1290) / YES (1399)
4. Keep carbs under 40% YES (17%) / YES 25%
5. Drink 10 big glasses of water per day. DONE! / YES!
6. Join the Y. Not yet...

Have a wonderful Wednesday Everyone!

Just noticed you got some sleep too!

This goal is huge to me because I have a bad habit of skipping a night of sleep a week when I am really busy. I got 7&1/2 hours last night!

2. Limit bread to one serving a day. yes, yes (0)
3. Carry a water bottle with me at all times. yes, yes
4. Walk 30-45 minutes daily. (Wimpy compared to normal, I know.) yes, yes
5. Take multi-vitamin daily. yes, yes
6. Continue with "weight-loss mode", changing calorie intake due to lower activity level. yes, yes

To Do List:

1. Limit calories to 1200. yes, yes
2. Get tax info ready for accountant. TOP PRIORITY! no, getting motivated, DONE!!!
3. Continue with positive attitude and energy regarding injury. yep, another good day Tuesday
4. Do something nice and/or unexpected for someone each day. I did, yes
5. Help daughter with NHS and college entrance letters. No, working on teacher recommendations

Probably won't get my walk in today (indoor or outdoor) as the windchill is approaching 25 below. Unbelievably, our schools didn't cancel. The bright side is that my taxes will be complete by noon since I'm locked inside.

Had a great day, calorie-wise, yesterday. I think I may finally be back on track, mentally, with weight loss. Hoping to get my BMI back under 20 for spring. Well, off to work on my taxes... wish me luck!

quinn

1) No scale until Friday. I usually weigh M/F but considering yesterday was the Superbowl and I know I ate a lot of sodium, the scale is going to be up today and it'll just depress me. Ran by the scale on Monday! Thought about it, but resisted!
2) Get my body exercising 4-5 times this week for at least 30 minutes. My ankle is strong enough now, I just have to DO it. NO EXCUSES (This is probably my main goal) Nothing Monday, ankle was feeling weak. 35 HARD minutes on the elliptical/hill intervals. I was so sweaty!
3) Eat more real food and less canned/pre-packaged. I've tended to use those microwave meals for lunch because they are quick and I don't want to anymore (This means MORE COOKING ). Practically, this goal has 2 parts. So...
3a) No microwave meals for anything Successfully avoided Monday! Also Tuesday!
3b) Only one ingredient for each meal out of a can or box if possible Monday's dinner was fresh pasta (from an italian deli, so not a box!) and some low-sodium alfredo. I consider this a success Tuesday: UGH, BF brought home pizza - we both worked so late, no cooking happened
4) Sleep 7-8 hours per night Yes, yes I think so
5) Keep carbs under 50% and proteins above 25% Close but no cigar on Monday Not enough protein Tuesday
6) Drink 8 servings of water daily!!!! DO IT!!!! No YES!

And life goals...

7) Work for at least 2 hours every day on paper manuscript Yes No
8) Do not mention/nag about/prod about the dreaded V-day and what the heck we're doing for it Yes Yes
9) Get taxes done Not yet, probably this weekend
10) Start next cross-stitch project. Nope Nope

That's 10!!! YIKES!
