Stacey, way to go!
Rhoda, best wishes for a speedy recovery for all the sick ones in your family! Mary, great job! I'm going to try to up my protein, too. Had 100-120g as a target, but will increase it to a minimum of 110g per day. Mike, congrats to ya! Only two minutes short of your personal goal was sensational--especially with another blister! |
WAY TO GO, MIKE!!
What an awesome accomplishment. Of course, this means you have to do another, just so you can hit your goal...j/k :D Mary & Mern, good job hanging in there during the tough times, and congrats on your good choices, Stacey. Glad you enjoyed VS ;) rhoda, hope all at your house are better soon! Sick stinks!! |

Thank you ladies. My blister was fine but around mile # 5 I could feel a new one coming. It's pretty nasty now. Well I did finish but I fell a little short of my personal goal. I was shooting for 2h 38m and I came in at 2h 40m. That's again everyone and big thanks vabeachgirlNYC for posting the pic :).

Almeeker, I just don't know how you do it! You seem to do so many activities with your children and is it me, or is there something you have to bake every week? The temptation would be so hard for me. How do you do it?
Great job on meeting your goals this week, you're a real inspiration for those of us bring up the rear. |
Great job Mike, I'm very impressed and proud of you. Nice pic BTW. Sorry about the blisters. I think it's fine if you want to be a wimp over them for the next couple of days, you've earned it.

I don't think that I can milk this for the next couple days. Maybe if I call it a war wound instead of a blister?? Here's the new one.

Super excited about today! Today is our "Valentine's Day" since the real one is on a school day. Chose today as a cheat day as well, so I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in, but the v-day treats and time with SO is sooooo worth it! Tomorrow I'm going back to crew practice! Wish me luck!
Happy Valentine's Day, ladies (and occasional men)! Health: 1. Drink water: Yes, No, No, Yes, Yes (Almost 3L!!!), Yes, Yes! Life: 1. Clean apartment: No, No, No, Tried, Enough for D&D night!!, Just stared at the piles of stuff, Nope! |
