Celiac Disease?

Does anyone here have Celiac disease? If so, can you explain your symptoms? I'm starting to think I may have this..

I don't, but my grandpa does. His main symptom is severe nausea and diarrhea and he loses a lot of weight when he eats any gluton (grain, rye, barley, etc). What are your symptoms?

I would check the celiac disease website http://www.celiac.org for more information and check with a doctor because if you are having those symptoms it could be a lot of things.

I hope it is just something small!

Thank you!
I've always had stomach problems and lately I've been linking them to certain foods. My stomach is also always gargling very loudly..I probably don't have it, but I'd just like to know why my stomach is so sensitive.

Celiac is when your body is intolerant of gluten, the protein found in wheat, barley, oats and spelt. If you do have it getting a solid diagnosis is pretty critical as Celiac goes hand in hand with a specific form of diabetes and malnutrition, problems that can be avoided to some extent if you catch the condition early enough and follow a strict gluten-free diet. Most people experience bloating, gas, diarrhea, sluggishness and nausea. Although there are other malnutrition based symptoms, like anemia and low vitamin D.
