So many different things can cause weight to fluctuate (besides overeating). Some women retain water before their periods and then loose it after a couple of days. Unfortunately, I frequently get cravings right before my period, so if I cave in to them, I can't blame the weight gain on water. I do believe that exercise and avoiding salt and caffeine helps. Ahh, the joys of being a woman.
