good for you Lizzy!!! I know you've got perseverance! Maybe the competition is what you need? Either way it should be fun to have people in the office to lose with.
Cassie, low rise jeans are horrible! I try not to buy them but it's hard to find a mid point between mommy jeans and crack exposure! grossss!

Pants up to his nipples??
Oh, wow..that mental picture is too much for words!! Thanks for the laugh this morning! I tucked a shirt in one day not too long ago because I was proud of my flat tummy...and my 13-year-old asked me why I did it and told me I looked like Grandma. So I haven't done that again.
I do really well with a mid-rise. I hate the high ones, too. I have so many jeans that I've had for so long that I won't even wear anymore because I bought them back when everything came to the waist.
Lizzy, good luck with the challenge! you can do it! Julia, hang in there; sounds like you got a wake up call into recovery mode, so ride that wave!
Guess I should jump on over to the regular thread, since it's not a check in. Hope you all have a great day!!

Maybe it's too late for a check-in - have had a crazy week so far!
I have enjoyed reading all of your check-ins - your insights are so helpful.
This week I finally kicked the plateau in the butt and lost 1 lb. I tried eating more healthy carbs in the week and I think it helped me to not go so carb-crazy on the weekend (usually by then I feel so deprived). I did treat myself on Sunday, but I tried eating meals- i.e. putting a portion on a plate and not just grazing. I felt a little bad about the huge bowl of Ben and Jerry's choc chip cookie dough in the evening, BUT, as it turns out, I didn't have a horrible stomachache on Mon. so I'll take it as an improvement.
I also tried to walk the dog after dinner every night and that might have helped to burn a little extra.
Thanks all for your tips and inspiration. You all are doing great!
