I came across the challenge and thought I'd join a little late. On August 27, I was 198 lbs so 19.8 to lose. Today I was 194.4 which is a bummer because it is about 1.5 higher than mid week. I keep losing and gaining the same 5 pounds (but about a year ago I hit an all time high of around 213 so I'm keeping this all in perspective). I am going on a 4 day cruise at the week's end so won't be checking in next Monday but I'll maybe check in the day after the cruise. I'll try to be good but not promising anything. I also have some food allergies or sensitivities which give me some challenges.

Chris
Copy and paste one of the stat templates some of us are using, edit for your own data, and there you go.

Thumbs up Staying the course...

Monday weigh in
Age=57
Height=5'10''
Start Weight=245 pounds (July 6,2010)
Weight=227 pounds (October 4/2010)
10% Challenge goal=220.5 pounds (24.5) (Dec 25, 2010)

With apologies to Tennyson:
Half a pound, half a pound, half a pound gone!...",

...but I'm not complaining. I had a buffet dinner and two buffet breakfasts to contend with this past week, and though I resisted most temptation, it was hard. However, did a lot of walking to balance off the calories (about 200-300 more than my planned daily intake). I'm still hitting my targets overall for saturated fat and cholesterol, which is really what I'm aiming to reduce. The weight loss is gravy...er, reward. But seem to be slowing down with the turn of the season, so need to stay focused on the prize.

And congrats to Mecompco, great job!

Up and down, up and down. I understand gaining a bit on a cruise (3 day) but the weight continued to go up afterwards even though I was doing the same things as before. Frustrating. So I am trying to mix things up a bit in the next week or so to see if I can get unstuck. Tired of losing and gaining the same 5 pounds.

Thanks for your suggestions for a sig line.

Have a great week. Good luck to you all.
