Monday check-in for the 10% challenge.
Today is an important milestone in terms of my weight loss. I have reached the half-way point to reach my lifetime maintenance weight goal and lost a total of 50lbs since April! Two more pounds to go in order to reach my goal for the wedding, then the next goal will be the Thanksgiving challenge.

Monday 8/23/10
Age: 35
Height: 5" 11"
Starting weight 226
Weight Last Week: 221.4 lbs
Current Weight: 223.8 lbs
Goal weight 203
20.8 lbs to go!
I gained 2 lbs this week. I think this was a bit of a rebound from losing too much weight during my first week. Also I ate out too much over the weekend. Despite this I'm in a good mood and I expect this week to be very productive.

Well, I successfully ran my first 5k yesterday! Whoot! Although I did place in the bottom 50% of my age bracket - super unhappy about that; but not last (which is what I was skurred of placing at) - so I guess that first goal was met.
Having said that, I've been able to drop down to 199.0/22.5%. Isnt it strange the scale has me at the same bf% but almost 4 lbs lighter? Thankfully we all know they're notoriously innacurate; because if not, that would mean I lost 4 lbs of muscle (right?) - and that's not a good thing!
Good thing is that the scale pointed down this week!
Onward to 185! (and my next challenge - 10k)

So I guess I am shooting for 174 by Thanksgiving. Sounds so far away at the rate I'm going but I intend to get there!
Age: 42
Height: 5' 4"
Challenge starting weight: 194.5
Today's weight: 194.5
Challenge goal: 174
Target lbs: 20.5
can't wait to see those numbers going down!
