Since the birth of my first child in June 1991, I have been over weight weighing over 200lbs at the age of 19. My weight had increased over the years reaching close to 250lbs and I was suffering with sleep apnea. Since 1995 to 2010, I have lost, gained, and maintained my weight but still weighing over 200lbs. I could not control my weight and because of this, I was diagnosed with diabetes four years ago. Although I was under medication to control diabetes, my blood sugar level was always over 300 and the norm is 100. My doctor advised me that I am on the borderline to receive insulin if I do not change my eating habits. This is a wake up call for me.

On January 29, 2011, I entered into a 12 week transformation challenge weighing in at 206lbs. After the 12 week challenge, I lost a total of 35lbs weighing in at 171lbs! In addition to my weight-loss accomplishment, my diabetes is under control and I am no longer on medication to control my blood sugar.

I recently got married in December 2011 and since then I gained almost 10lbs. Here I am on another transformation challenge. My goal during this challenge is to loose 30lbs or down to 150lbs.

Here are my before and after pictures as well as my wedding photo. BY THE WAY I AM 40 YEARS OLD with a 21 year old son, 12 year old daughter, and a 7 year old daughter and I've been mistaken to be their older sister.
