Hi everyone! Before and during pic!
 

I still have about 40 to lose but I thought I would post this. I've actually used Fitday for nearly 12 years now but just this past year I got hardcore and everything fell into place with my weight loss. And I have never checked out the message boards until today! Insane!

Wow insane difference! Congrats. 12 years here is very cool. I don't know of anyone that has been here that long.

I was 228 in the before and 188 in the during!

So what sparked the change in the past year?

My husband got serious about getting healthy and fit and he dropped 50 pounds and is now running 1/2 marathons. I want to keep up with him. I don't want to be the fat wife....to put it bluntly. And for myself, of course. I don't want to be embarrassed to do fun things, I live in San Diego and I NEVER go to the beach! Next summer will be different.

I think the slow changes helped me...I didn't drastically change all of my bad habits at once.

That's the way to get 'er done - super job Bonny!:D And to reiterate... don't be a stranger to the forums. We'd love to read about your continued progress :)

I wish the forums had been here years ago. 12 years! I think you've got me beat--my first weight log on FitDay was around July of '01 (If only I'd stayed!).

Keep doing what you're doing and don't be a stranger!

WOW you look amazing congrats! I agree with the slow change too much at once can be overwhelming and can be very easy to loose yourself and fall... I have beeing working on my sodium levels now for a few weeks... lord oh lord that is a tuff one to get in order.. sugar was soooo much easie! You are looking great. One of the things I always notice when I lose weight is how much bigger my eyes look. You have amazing eyes and now you can fully see them, and what a great face shape. You are doing great.....:D
