7 pounds to target weight
I am half a stone off my target weight. It has taken 13 months and I have gone very slowly at 1 pound per week.
It has been slow but the process has taught me to change my eating, lifestyle and stress habits. I have learned to control the stress that causes me to eat too much. I also learned what flash-points made me eat too much of the wrong type of food.
I cut out sugar, bread, crisps, fried food, big meals, big portions and low nutritional foods. Instead I eat lots of veggies and stick to breakfast and either lunch or dinner (but not both). I have stuck to 1500 calories a day and will slowly increase this now or I will continue to lose weight.
My BMI is healthy for the first time in a decade.
I make all the meals on a sunday night for the week ahead and therefore do not have the hungry time between getting home and eating - meals go straight into oven.
