I am back!!
No I didn't fall off the face of the earth! I got a new computer and it just would not let me on these forums. I finally figured out a round about way to get in this morning.
I am now down to a size 8! Smaller than I was even in high school. Still eating right and exercising more than ever. I got a new bike last week and hopefully the weather will cooperate and I can start riding today.
This is from a 15 mile backpacking trip my daughter and I did in the fall.

Believe me I am also happy to be back! I missed everyone. I finally got to use my new bike yesterday. My daughter was the one that talked me into getting one. She got one and wanted someone to ride with her. We did 6 miles and oh my- my butt is sore! I had to keep reminding her that it has been umm- probably 30 some years since I have ridden for any lenght of time at all. She is only 15 so that is probably out of her realm of thinking LOL.
We are going again today. I have to get used to doing this. We are planning a weekend bike trip on the Katy Trail. It is a trail that goes all the way across the state of Missouri. We wont do it all- just a portion but I am excited to try it out just to see if I can do it.

Two more days of biking down. Yesterday we did 8.5 miles and today we got up early and did 9.5 miles. Then I had to go to work and walk for 8 hours LOL. Definitely got the exercise in today. I think tomorrow will be my day for a break!
