Getting My Track on the Radar – Am I Missing a Trick or Two?

Hey everyone, I recently released a tech house track that I uploaded to Beatport a couple weeks ago. While I’ve been sharing it on social media and getting some nice feedback from friends, I’m not seeing any real engagement or movement on the platform itself. I’ve heard that being on Beatport’s Top 100 or other charts can make a massive difference, but I’m unsure how those charts work and what actually helps boost visibility. Is it all down to sales, or are there promo techniques that actually push things forward? Would love to hear what’s worked for you personally!

Hey mate! First off, major props for getting your track out there—takes guts! But yeah, just uploading it and tossing a few Insta stories usually won’t cut it on Beatport. Visibility there is a whole different beast. If you wanna climb their charts, you need smart targeting. Somewhere in the middle of every successful release, beatport promotion <!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->PromosoundGroup plays a huge role—especially paid campaigns aimed at DJs who are actually looking for new bangers. Without that, even a fire track gets lost in the noise. Focus on exposure, sales, DJ chart placements, and keep pushing with consistency. Promo’s not cheating—it’s the hustle!
