Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to our new and returning members!

What are some of your goals for the new year?

mnge 01-06-2018 05:25 AM

Happy new year everyone! And thanks for the question Mike; would like this year to be the year of losing 65 lbs that have been blopping on and and making me uncomfortable

So to do that, will walk 364 miles this year. (Seven miles a week)

Will try to update here every Saturday with progress - consistency with this has helped me before.

I'd love to just get a handle on my binge eating, which doesn't seem to be happening right now. Maybe it's time I see a therapist so I can better understand this fear of being deprived.

Both are really good and reasonable goals.

Thanks again for asking this Mike.

Will have to revise this now that we are 1/2 way through the year and have only lost 7 lbs. . . .think that 24 lbs by the end of the year is more likely to stay off. think that the 283 miles left are still workable though - that is 1.7ish a day or 12ish a week, which will be challenging and achievable.

With 7 months into this month, I think I still have a long journey ahead of me, still need to put some more effort to achieve my goal. I've improved a lot since the start of this year, but I still need a push towards my target weight.
