Christmas Trees Available Online
Granted, I have a fake tree, well it's real... plastic & metal I guess. But doesn't this take away the fun of picking out a tree, if you are using a fresh tree? What's next? Pre-decorated with presents...

Yeah this is lame. But then again what do I know? I bundle up, trudge outside in the cold and go pick my menorah off the menorah tree. At least I didn't say bush! Oops! Guess I did!!!
Seriously this takes all the fun out of getting a tree, I would think. The kids didn't look too thrilled. Look, Ma! UPS brought our tree! What a tradition!!! Yeeesh.

Guess it depends on where you live. Where can you cut your own tree down in NYC? A lot of people don't have cars either so how would they get it back to their apartment? Although I have actually seen people hauling them home from thr tree lots on the subway!

Please permit me my Seinfeldian humor. I prefer to totally eschew the display of any tannebaum, real or fake, and choose to follow Frank Costanza in the celebration of Festivus!
The origins of the Festivus celebration can be dated back to one man's refusal to conform to the increased commercialism and consumerism which has saturated the December holiday season. Frank Costanza, during a routine outing to secure a Christmas gift for his son George, realized that there should be a new holiday:
The Festivus tradition is centered around the display of an unadorned aluminum pole, which Frank Constanza praises for its "very high strength-to-weight ratio." The aluminum pole was apparently chosen as an opposition to the commercialization of highly decorated Christmas trees, and also because Frank, "finds tinsel distracting."
After the celebration is over, it is not uncommon for a pole to be placed in an out-of-the-way place, such as a crawl space.
The celebration of Festivus begins with Airing of Grievances, which takes place immediately after the Festivus dinner has been served.
Frank Costanza: And at the Festivus dinner, you gather your family around, and tell them all the ways they have disappointed you over the past year! Each participant tells friends and family of all the instances where they disappointed him or her that year.
Frank Costanza: Welcome, new comers. The tradition of Festivus begins with the airing of grievances. I got a lot of problems with you people! And now you're gonna hear about it!
In Seinfeld, it is clearly stated that "Festivus is not over until the head of the household is wrestled to the floor and pinned". The Feats of Strength will normally follow the Airing of Grievances. It is usually the head of family's choices as to who will participate in the Feats of Strength.
While Festivus is generally celebrated on December 23rd, it remains a very flexible, non-denominational holiday which provides for joyful serendipitous anarchy for all! And, it saves some live trees.
