The link Vader29 provided in their edit is recent news to me, apparently weight loss is related to hair loss in some way. The changes your body is undergoing can cause stress and disrupt what's normal for you. Besides the medications suggested in the article, would there be any way to know if you have a deficiency in vitamin B? From what I know and as mentioned briefly it does have an impact on the quality and health of your hair.
