There are these natural home made ice creams with fruits where you put lets say strawberries in the blender then you freeze them and TAAA DAAA all natural. Has anyone done that before? I would like to know if its a good idea to add honey in the blender.

' you put lets say strawberries in the blender then you freeze them and TAAA DAAA all natural.'
That's really an 'ice,' I think. But it is delicious. I don't know about adding honey (worth trying). After the mixture freezes (use a metal bowl or pan), you break it up with a fork after slightly thawing it. Mash it a bit in the bowl and then freeze again. This helps to give it a sherbet type texture. Good luck! |
I like to
Hazelnut Dark Chocolate. |
Sound interesting! Thanks

Well nowadays sugar-free ice cream is readily available so it is good for dental health and also people with diabetes.
|
I am even not sure about this method. And honestly didn't try it yet.
|
There are available sugar-free (or those with less sugar) ice creams in the market so when I'm craving, I usually buy those! I think Ben & Jerry's has one with less calories, I might try that one out next time.

I have made such ice creams - although I think they are more like fruit ices than ice creams. Still delicious, though. Can't beat the value of cutting out those calories (adding honey might lessen that benefit...)

I love ice cream! There are so many delicious and healthy options out there. One of my favorites is Halo Top Ice Cream.
