Me again!!
Hello everyone, I just wanted to shout out a quick hello to everyone. I am 38 years old, happily married with two teenagers just entering highschool. LIfe is always crazy busy and taking care of myself always seems to be at the bottom of the list. I am currently at 183 pounds and my goal is to be at 150 by end of November. I have struggled with my weight my whole life and I'm ready to make the lifestyle change I need in order to be a healthier me. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!!

I did have another account elmo38' but shortly after I signed up I couldn't remember my info!!! Nonetheless I am back and hopefully will keep on track this time!!! So hard!!

Hello Elmo39, glad you are back. Hey we are almost the same in our goal and timeline, how cool is that?! May we both succeed and help each other to succeed. My toughie is food, I exercise a lot and enjoy it...but then I eat. I am logging my food here on fitday because I just don't if I leave it up to me. I like the nutritional explanations as I enter each food, it makes me feel healthier somehow LOL
I am only weighing once a week, so we will see soon how I am doing.

Hi Elmo and Topspally,

You guys might try out the motivational thread. There is a group of us that make weekly goes and give support to one another. It is helpful to me. Hope to see you there!

Good luck. Its inspiring when dads take getting in shape seriously. I know when I'm 50 I want to be showing up those young guys on the beach.
