Hi, I m new here, and I really want to lose weight, I just started exercising a week ago, and I m not really seeing result yet, but I guess I will stick to it.

Welcome Tee!

While exercise is an important part of any weight loss plan there is an old adage "You can't out train a bad diet". Exercise is just one part to the solution. Diet is said to be the other 80%. Hopefully I am preaching to the choir and you have also started to adjust your eating (and drinking). Join us over in the Exercise section in the "Did you exercise today" thread.

Also, I at least found that when I first started exercising I didn't lose weight for a couple of weeks, because I was adding muscle, which weighs more than fat. I was losing fat, though, and after a couple of weeks the weight also started to come off. How your clothes fit is sometimes a more reliable indicator of progress than is the scale.
