Hey y'all! I started this site back at the end of February, but this is the first time getting around to posting on the boards. My "story" is I am 31 and I have struggled with my weight since I was around 16. I will get determined and lose a few pounds then fall off the wagon and gain it all back plus double! Over the years with that pattern plus being pregnant and health issues I climbed up to 358:eek: So....I am at a point in my life where my motivation is that of "if I dont do it now, I never will" I am starting week 9 today and hinestly I have never done this before with this great of motivation and attitude so I am feeling good. Weigh in this morning puts me at 336...down 22 pounds!!! I am trying to add in exercise with walking and as far as food goes i try to avoid processed foods and have a good balance between fat, calories, and protein. I have down days every once in awhile, mainly where the rest of my life gets hectic or stressful and my first emotional response is to say screw it and eat...I have done really well with fighting them and staying on track. I don't deprive myself something if i really want it but i only have a small amount and I don't use it as an excuse to overeat a ton of bad stuff.
well, thats a chunk of my story and I am looking forward to making some friends on here, getting and giving support and using all the tools to reach my goal weight:D. Have a great day!

Hi jnelson, welcome! You have made a good first step signing up at FitDay. There are many people here who are willing to help along the way and provide support, encouragement, and challenges.
