Frustrated
I finally joined fitday as my millionth attempt to control my overeating binges. I have tried every trick in the book and to no avail have yet to get into a steady eating routine. It seems like every I do well for a few days my body has just had it and can't get full until I down hundreds upon hundreds of calories to get satisfied. This looked a good site to switch over to from livestrong. So.. hopefully I can learn some new things about myself and how to kick this habit or at least dumb it down some.

If overeating comes from being really hungry, then there are a few things you can change. Drink more water, eat lots more fiber. Make sure you're getting enough protein in your meals. Eat slowly.
If it's emotional overeating, then all bets are off. You have to tackle that as an individual. Distract yourself with something that takes you far away from food is just one strategy.
