Hi Sara,
Yes, not too dissimilar stats except I'm starting heavier than you... ah well! I chose 10.10 (150lbs) goal as it was the highest weight I could be at 5'5" and still be in the normal bmi range. I can't remember when I was that weight, not since my late 20's I think. But that ought to be my goal, I will be thrilled to lose two stone though.
I'm liking the fitday, it lets me really track stuff with the right amount of obsession, but not to be too annoying to those around me. haha
I'm already down 2 lbs, I know that's all water, but still. I couldn't help getting on the scales this morning! I intended to only weigh myself weekly.
I am tracking carbs closely as I am a carb addict. Following a program called the Rosedale diet which I lost 20 lbs with a couple of years ago. I am trying to lose this weight for good this time (aren't we all...!) We'll see.
Good luck to all we Fabulous Feb Fat Fighters 2012!!

Hi!
I am new here too. I started my weight loss journey on Feb 13th at 520 pounds. Yes, I am a very large man at 6'5". My goal is to be down to 295 after a year. Progress has been fast the first week and a half, but I know that will slow down soon. Good luck!
Start Weight: 2/2013/12: 520
Current: 2/22/2012: 496
Goal: 2/13/2013: 295

I just wanted to offer encouragement to all of you Fabulous February Fat Fighters! I am one too, well, sort of! I started a year ago yesterday on this journey. This is a great time of year to get started. It's still chilly outside so you won't work up a sweat as easy while you are still out of shape and going for some walks. Then as the walking gets easier it gets hotter outside to make you sweat more. No real major eating holidays looming in the near future either.
Best wishes to you all and keep in mind that slow & steady wins the race. I am down 68.8lbs in one year! I never thought I could do it, but apparently I can. Still have a ways to go, but I will get there!

I must take some photos so I can have before and after like wildbeanerz
Just think what we will be typing this time next year in February 2013!
So how did you fellow Fabulous February Fat Fighters find Fitday?
I found it because "biggest loser" is currently on tv in UK and I looked at that site but couldnt really afford to pay a monthly fee, so a google search later and I found this.
I love the charts and so far the thought of having too much over my calorie burned is enough to keep me on the straight and narrow!
