Dragonfly, it sounds like you are really depressed and down on yourself. Can you find a therapist that can help you work through some of those issues?

Or there are a few books out there on self-compassion. They have done some studies that show that people who have more self-compassion lose more weight. There is a book called "The Self-Compassion Diet" which comes with guided meditation. Also, a book Oprah liked called "Women, Food and God" which seems to deal with the reasons why we eat and how to deal with that. I also read a good book called "Feel good Naked" which has some good stories.

I think if you work on self-esteem, self-confidence and self-compassion as you work on the weight issues, it will lead to better results. IMHO

I so agree, when I allow myself to dwell on the fact that I am overweight and not looking good, it leads me into comfort "what's the point" eating. If I tell myself in the morning that I'm looking better, put on some nice clothes and stand tall it helps me stick to my eating plan. As I have said many times - don't beat yourself up when you slip up, most of us do, just start again and if you can discover why it happened maybe you can change that pattern and avoid the trigger. Good luck and keep posting, it really helps me.

so my exercise is out for little while
 
well i was doing really good this week i had cut out sodas and took my daughter to the zoo and walked around it twice ....we had a blast...then we was going to go swimming and was in a car wreck:( the baby is fine... but im alittle beat up so im hoping the 6 pds i have lost i dont gain back whil im down ...life is depressin and stressful right now
