Need help: Translation of documents for applying for a job in Canada

Hi here, I am currently looking for a job in Canada and some employers are asking for official translations of my diplomas and certificates. I am not sure what kind of translation they need - does it have to be done by a certain type of translator? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, for job applications in Canada, especially in formal industries or when applying to government-related roles, they usually require a certified translation. That means it must be done by a professional who is authorized to provide certified translations. If you’re in Alberta, I’d highly recommend looking into certified translation calgary services. These professionals are recognized by regulatory bodies and will provide you with stamped, signed translations that employers trust. Don’t risk using unofficial translators, even if they’re fluent - companies might reject those documents.

This resume builder is a powerful resource for job seekers. It offers all the essential tools without overwhelming you with complexity. The templates look polished and up-to-date. I also like that you can download your resume in different formats. A free resume builder with this level of quality is hard to find
