Hi! I’m trying out FitDay after seeing it referenced on r/LoseIt

I’m a regular over at Reddit’s r/loseit. I was really impressed by the graphs (presumably generated by Fit Day) that a user had posted of his progress and thought I’d check out Fit Day. I normally track my intake and exercise through My Fitness Pal, which doesn’t really track enough of what I want it to track.

Anyway, I’m 26F and 5'6". I’ve actually already lost a bunch of weight (35 lbs) and am now ~16 lbs away from my goal. Because of Asianess, despite being at a healthy BMI for the general populace, I’m still at risk for disease according to the World Health Organization, using BMI. In addition to BMI, I’m using waist measurement (NIH recommendation) as an indicator of risk.

I’ve lost the weight I have by counting Calories. I don’t follow any particular diet or exercise plan, but I do try to keep to approx 1200 Calories/day. I find that protein keeps me satiated for longer, so I do have a rough protein goal (~30% of daily intake); other than that, I keep it pretty simple.
