welcome aboard!

What to expect with logging food and exercise? At 1st it'll be frustrating and feel like a PITA as you try to learn a new system. There are many foods not listed, which is why we have the custom food tab. Before you know it, you be used to how it works and wonder how you ever lived without it.

I don't know anything about the diet so I can't comment on that. When it comes to diet and exercise there is conflicting info on just about everything, for example... you may read that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then stumble across a website that recommends intermittent fasting (working out 1st thing in the a.m. without breakfast). It can be so confusing, I just do what makes sense and what works for me.

yes, it can be a real eye opener. I recently started logging sleep. That will bring cals burned down actually. For example, my daily burn shows 2401, once I put in 8 hrs sleep it drops to 2106. So not everything adds to cals burned but I do recommend logging sleep!

Try this http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm
