Hi I'm new and I have a question....
Why is my 'burned' calorie number so high? I'm not complaining really...just confused. I only walked about an hour and a half and it's over 3,000! If someone could please explain the system to me I would very, very much appreciate it!!!!!

What's your age, weight, type of lifestyle, etc.? How much did it say that you burned JUST for the walk?

I think the Fitday rate for calculating how many calories you burn during the day is really skewed. It said something like I could eat 2300 a day not including any exercise. I know that is inflated. I played with the settings to change my average daily requirement to be a BMR around 1650 because that's a better reflection of what I truly burn in a day, not including exercise.

I added sleep but it only lowered it by 200 cals...my treadmill says I burned 63.2 calories but the calculator says that I burned over 2500...I'll double check but I think I entered everything correctly...maybe not
