Default Hello, everyone.

Just signed up. I have over 100 pounds to wave away, and I've given myself till the end of next year (2017) to do it.

This is a long road, and I'm frankly a little bummed at the thought that I let myself get into this state. I've tried so many times.

I've spoken really frankly to my husband about it, and he's very supportive. I think that could make a big difference, as I really want him to be actively involved--to give me help, and help police me, even, until I can do this on my own.

Hope everyone here is hopeful and doing well.

Having the support of your husband is huge.

Whenever you want to give up just remember that reaching your goal will be worth all the temporary frustrations you may have right now.

At some point you are going to notice how my much better you feel. You will start to notice small differences first. It will be hard at first but you will get to the point of wanting to lose the weight more then you want that Holiday cookie.

You just have to push through the beginning of making the decision of living a healthier lifestyle. One day soon you will look back and say "Why did I wait so long to do this"?

I won't even say good luck. Just that you can do it. It is so worth it!

Hi, this sound like a wonderful thing to do. I suggest very much focusing on the pleasant aspect of healthful living, like having a full control over what you are eating through cooking, enjoying fresher, simpler life and your body becoming more capable. You are a human, which means you spend time outdoors, move, eat real food, think and rest to experience the joy of being.

Once you derive pleasure from being yourself, there will be nothing left to struggle against.
