Weight gain after gastric bypass
Hi everyone,
I had gastric bypass 13 years ago and lost 130 lbs over 2 years. I exercise 4-5 days a week at the gym..cardio, weights, yoga...about an hour. My food intake has been pretty much the same all this time. Of course special occasions, holidays, birthdays etc. will differ a little but not by much. I even try to keep my diet the same when I'm on vacation. But, even with doing this, I have managed to regain about 50 lbs. Needless to say, I'm not happy about this.
I have been using the food log and I average about 1200 calories/day. I have stopped snacking (healthy snacks) between meals so I was eating 1400-1500 calories/day.
I hope that logging everything keeps me more mindful of what goes in my mouth. I'm open to suggestions from anyone out there who may be in my same situation and has been successful at getting the weight off.
Thank you.
