Hi all. I'm new. Hoping to stick to it this time!

Hi there. I am the queen of "starting over"! I need to lose around 50lbs (yikes) but even losing 10 right away would make a big difference on this 5'3 frame.
I have trouble with consistency and tracking, so I am committing to changing this. Can anyone tell me what the amount on my daily tracking log means? It is a high number of approx. 2200. Thanks. I'm looking forward to being part of this.

Welcome!

Which number are you referring to? Where do you see that number?

Fitday allows you to set a goal and given your current weight, and a date to achieve your goal, there is a daily calorie limit figured for you. You need only to go through a few steps to have that calculated for you.

Hello Debster2016!
I have not been on this site in years and I too started over for the millionth time on 1/31/16. We also have the same amount to lose. It sure would be easier with someone that has the same goals :). We can do this!

Hi all! I am starting off with a low goal of 5 lbs in a months time! I really hope to get my vitamin levels up in a better range. How about all of you?

Debster, from what I understand, your 2200 cal would be what u consume now to stay at your current weight. So, in order to lose weight consume 2000 cal. Hope that helps ?!
