I actually signed up with FITDAY I'm guessing about 15 years ago... ? I just know that's when I had my health transition but not sure when I was on here. I guess I had a different email address cause it didn't recognize me.

Anyway, I'm back. I've eaten very well and exercised since then but my weight set point went from 205 to 215 4-5 years ago and I've been OK with it but it's limiting me in some of my exercise goals. I'm 6'3", 217 lbs and almost 62 y/o and I want to do more chin-ups than my current 4-5. Weight makes a huge difference for that since you're pulling up all that weight. Plus, I know that, in reality, my weight is too high... just hard to face reality. :(

I swim a mile on M/W/F and work out with weights on T/Th so I feel pretty fit but getting my weight down will also help with my cholesterol. I'm not on any meds currently except nasal sprays for allergies but I was 15 years ago and don't want to go back there.

Welcome, Brad!

It sounds like you are active and fit but just need to lose a few pounds. This is the right place - controlling your calorie intake is the place to start. Good luck!
