Default Please help im a newbie

Hi I'm new to Fitday i was using FitnessPal but heard good things about Fitday. But it wants me to eat 3300 calories I'm 45 weigh 250 (was 321 but lost 70lbs the unhealthy way) my bmi is 39 I go to the gym 5 days a week and workout just 3300 is so much I can't imagine this will help me lose weight I was eating about 1500 before that

Have you set a goal and timeframe? That is when fitday gives you a daily calorie limit for reaching your goal.
