7 day accountability thread 6/21/2020 - 6/28/2020

I see that this thread has fallen by the wayside. I am a type 2 diabetic who needs to stay on a ketogenic diet in order to maintain my blood sugar within acceptable (to me) limits. I have been under a tremendous amount of stress in my personal life the last year or more, and my diet has gone to the wall. I gained a LOT of weight and I was seeing very scary numbers on my glucometer. So on the 15th of June, 2020 I decided that I needed to take care of myself, get back on the diet and lose around 45-50#. So far, so good. I have remained under 20g total carbs (except for one day when it was 22.5g) and have so far lost 4#. I tend to lose very slowly, so this is actually quite pleasing to me.

Is anyone prepared to join me and share their story? Hopefully we can encourage each other.

Hey, Allayns! Thanks for picking up the challenge! I am not counting carbs but I am looking at different ways to reduce my caloric intake. Recently, I've gotten interested in Volumetrics again (it's a diet based on caloric density of foods) but I haven't seriously started the diet. Still reading the updated book!
I hope that you have as much success in the coming weeks as you've had so far! Good work!
