7 day accountability thread 12/23/2019-12/29/2019

Countdown to Christmas!
3-2-1
Intermittent fasting has fallen by the wayside, at least until the house belongs to just my husband and me again.

Making breakfasts for everyone is just too stressful, especially when the discussion of the day is always: 'What shall we eat? Are you hungry? I'm hungry! What is there for lunch? Who's making dinner? Are we going out for dinner?' and so on.

I have been cooking meats with a sous vide rigged up with a kettle and candy thermometer. Acquiring a new skill with a pot of water. The results have been good. I will never buy sous vide equipment because we don't have room in the kitchen for that. The kettle works well, as long as there are little balls floating on the surface of the water while the meat cooks. They look like small ping-pong balls. Who knew that their floating on the surface would keep the water temperature constant?

Big breakfasts (I cook) every day during the holidays. Stress because it all has to be coordinated, and then the cleaning up! Intermittent fasting has been suspended.
