Default Weekly Challenge 8/19/2019-8/25/2019

1) 100 oz water per day:
2) Stick to Keto:
3) No eating after 8:00pm:
4) Avg 7k steps per day:
5) Lose 2 pounds (starting at 211.4):

I just wanted to note that I do my final weight in on Monday morning. If I do it on Sunday, I may cheat to celebrate and start the week off high, so to keep me honest, I go Monday to Monday.

I am lacking in steps but killing it on the scale, although I think my scale is being very generous. I think I'll be up in weight tomorrow.

1) 100 oz water per day: yes
2) Stick to Keto: yes
3) No eating after 8:00pm: none
4) Avg 7k steps per day: 3895
5) Lose 2 pounds (starting at 211.4): -1.8 (209.6)

Just as I thought, the scale crept back up. I didn't do anything wrong, I think I just had a false reading yesterday.

1) 100 oz water per day: yes, yes
2) Stick to Keto: yes, yes
3) No eating after 8:00pm: none, none
4) Avg 7k steps per day: 3895, 4579
5) Lose 2 pounds (starting at 211.4): -1.8 (209.6), (-.2)211.2

Monday to Monday works fine!
I have been eating mindfully, drinking water (can't help it - it's been that kind of summer!), doing my squats, spending some time in the sun every day, and … what am I missing? I am not walking! That is what I have to resume. I have a portable CD player now and nothing should be holding me back. There has been the sudden appearance of mosquitoes in my town, so I may have to walk at the Y!

If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? In Louisiana we have mosquitoes the size of a small passenger plane.

Mike, up here in Massachusetts, the black flies in some ares are big and aggressive. But, mosquitoes - usually, not a problem. I made a homemade concoction of olive oil, tea tree oil, and some essential oils. I get oiled up to do my heavy gardening work. Showering afterward makes oil and water fight it out but the water usually wins.

Mindful eating, intermittent fasting, water, sun: all good. Sun: good. Walking: nope. My garmin tells me I'm getting exercise with all the digging and weeding, but I need to have some sort of regimen. I'm switching from squats to planks - my knee needs a rest.
