Default Weekly Challenge 2/11-2/17

I know Kathy is in!! Who else wants to join?

I fell off the wagon later in the week last week and it carried over through the weekend. I didn't go hog wild but I didn't stick to my plan. The result of that proved that what I was doing was working! So I', back at it this week. Keeping my feet to the fire!!

Yeah, count me in!

I'm going to get myself all twisted into knots this week and add one new goal: measuring or weighing all that I eat. That should kill any joy I have in life, right?
My goals: Intermittent fasting,10 minutes of physical therapy (leg work for my knee), drink more water, measure food.

Note: I had jury duty today so my intermittent fasting just did not work!: And there was no measuring, just flat out donut-eating.

Measuring food - I can see the burnout coming! I feel like I've let portion control get really sloppy, so maybe this will help. I've stopped counting the number of pretzels I eat, for example. It easily gets out of hand.

My goals:

1) 100 oz water per day: yes
2) average 6500 steps per day: 6468
3) no alcohol: none
4) lose 1 pound:

Kathy, it can get out of hand. Maybe one day I'll get back to logging everything. I really like going low carb because if it's something I can eat, I eat it, if I shouldn't I don't, no need to log for me and it feels awesome... but that may change.

Yesterday I slipped again. Going low carb is hard for the first couple weeks, after that I quit craving carbs. Well, once you introduce carbs back in, it's hard to resist them. It's almost like an all or nothing deal. I'll be cooking a nice dinner for Valentine's day.
Char Grilled Filet Mignon
Char Grilled Oysters
Smothered yellow squash/zucchini
Sauteed mushrooms, garlic and onions
Garlic mashed red potatoes
Chocolate covered strawberries
Everything will be good, except for the potatoes and strawberries. I'll limit myself to both.

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's going to be a tough week, I can tell. First, Valentine's Day, and then husband's birthday.
